These Facilities served generations of Seattle’s Japanese community until closing its doors in 1950, and has remained preserved as it was to this day.

 

Two Japanese American women storing valuables in the basement of the hotel.  This chest still remains along with many others remains where it was left over 50 years ago.

This early picture of the hotel was photographed in 1929.  The building still maintains much of the original sturcture.

Photograph of the Japanese Bath House located in the Basement of the hotel.  The Bath House remains unchanged to this day.
